How to get there:
Access to the municipality
The PPGCFL is based in the Departamento de Ciências Florestais e da Madeira (DCFM) of UFES, located in the municipality of Jerônimo Monteiro, in Espírito Santo.

The municipality of Jerônimo Monteiro is divided by the BR-482 highway, being 40 km away from Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, about 70 km away from the border with Minas Gerais (Espera Feliz/MG) and 80 km away from the border with Rio de Janeiro (Bom Jesus do Itabapoana/RJ).

Access to Vitória: BR-482 up to Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, then turn to BR-101 up to Vitória. Or maybe through BR-482 up to Duas Barras, ES-181 up to Venda Nova do Imigrante and BR-262 up to Vitória.

The Vitória Airport is the closest one and with the best logistics. It is about 200 km distant from the Graduate Program headquarters.

Route from Vitória to Jerônimo Monteiro is made by “Viação Planeta”

Route from Rio de Janeiro to Castelo (via Jerônimo Monteiro) is made by “Viação Kaissara” and “Expresso União”.

Through Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, every hour, leaving Cachoeiro bus station, “Viação Real” (Tel: +55 28 21011811).

One should notice that in this bus station in Cachoeiro, there are busses from various regions of the Brazilian southeast, allowing for a connection with “Real” transportation company, directly to Jerônimo Monteiro.
